George,—Claim, £l3 15s Defendant: did not appear, but a tele-ram was received from him acknowledging the debt and stating that he had remitted the amount by mad. His Worship gave judgment for £l3 together with 20s. costs of Court. J. Harding v. J. Holliday.—Claim, £SO, for board and lodging, refreshments, stabling, Ac. Defendant pleaded not indebted, statiim that ho bad a counterclaim, but had not filed7a set-off Judgment was given for the full amount claimed’ with 355. costs.
