HOW THE TOWN RACE IS DEFILED.
To the Editor of (he Cromwell Argus. Sir,—Can you inform me how long the Town Ditch has been used as a washhand-basin ? Or how long it is likely to be so used ? Because, if it be put to such use much longer, and with like connivance of the Town Council, perhaps it might be advisable for that body to supply the users with towels, looking-glasses, and other toilet necessaries.—By inserting this, you will •oblige Observer. Cromwell, June 23.
