Thursday, May 1. (Before W. Lawrence Simpson, Esq., Judge and Warden.) Ah Hang v. Ah Sce.—This was a formal complaint brought in order to obtain cancellation of certificates for a water-race, extended cla m, and tail-race held in the name of Ah Sue and party—Ah Sue’s maces having left for China without completing the transfer of their interests to the purchas r, Ah Hang. —The Warden cancelle I the certificates. APPLICATIONS. Extended Cud ms. —J. Sherlock and another, Adams’s Cully ; David Stewait and another, Baileys Cully; W. H. Johnston and fiveotbeis, Drummonds Creek; Ah Yung and another, Nevis ; 11. Gudwood, Drummond’s Creek ; H. ADKone ana two others, Stonewall Giuly ; H. Lougfort and two others, Nevis Goige. Tail Races. Alfred M’Minu and another, (two appdeations), postponed.—Certificates were granted to H. I.ongfort and another, W. H. Johnston and live others. John Sherlock and another. D. Stewart and another. Hater Races. Gilbert Staite was granted six heads from Dm mnond’s Creek ; and 11. Gudwood six heads from Gray and party’s tail-race, Drummond’s Creek. Residence Area.. —D. Stewart and another were granted one ace at Bannockburn,
