Stephenson was panted | sixty clays to enable him to test the reef in the i Caledonian quartz claim.—John L. Edwards and | five others obtained a certificate for sixty days | to enable them to test a quartz claim which had J been abandoned by the former holders. The ground is situate in Adams’s Gully, three-quar-ters of a mile south of the Royal Standard. Extended Claims. —Samuel Latimer, two acres at Boggy Gully. Nevis : granted.-—John C. Mann and two others, three acres on east bank of Bannockburn : granted.—The application of Arthur Williamson and another for two acres near Sandy Point, was refused, the Warden stating that, so fir as he could ascertain, the ground in that neighbourhood had not been declared available for extended claims. Water Paces The adjourned application of Martin Brich was further postponed for a week, the applicant not having served a written notice upon the Ail Nations Company as directed.— Bowman and Sargeant's application was refused on the ground of informality.—Three applications by Walter E1 wards and another were withdrawn.—The application of J oart-shore and r uo-be-x Drummond’s Creek, was refused, being informal. Dam. Bowman and were granted a certificate for a site at Hobart Town Jack’s Point, Upper Clutha
