Thursday, November 14. (B'fore W. Lawrence Simpson, Esq., Judge and Warden.) The only complaint set down for hearing,— viz., James Russell v. Nil Desperandiun Q. M. Co., Registered, hi which the sum of €7~> Gs. Sd. was claimed for wages, —was withdrawn by the complainant. APPLICATIONS. Extended C/ahns. —The application of G. TTnrjens and two others, James Davlin and another, and Donald M'Donald and another, to have certain areas declared open under r'cetion 1 of Keg. IV, were held over, to he dealt wiili on 28th iust.— John O'Kecfc and another were granted two acres at Dnunmond's Creek, Upper Kevis. Tail Race. Nevis : granted.—Charles Hudson and another, Druruinond's Creek : no appearance : cancelled. J'ezidence Area.— W. Goldsmith, Baunockbuvn : granted. Protect! <n. Hcnrich Behrens and others were granted sixty days' to enable them to test their reef at Paddy's Gully.
