What is Nervousness? — Various answers might be given to this question, according to the constitution and knowledge of the individual. Strong healthy persons, whether medically educated or not, generally regard nervousness as more or less an “ imaginary complaint” ; it is sometimes only believed to be real when the patient is found to be dying or dead.
