The boilers of the Spanish steamer Guadaysa exploded at Marseilles. She was at the time crowded with passengers, forty-four of whom, together with eleven of the crew, were hilled. The vessel afterwards caught lire, 1x1)1011 communicated with the dock, and destroyed many hundred bales of cotton. Dropsy.— Another very serious case cured by Hdloimy's Pills. —Mrs Martha Jones, of Newport, be l ween 40 and 50 years of age, was in a most awful dropsical state, the lower extremities being dreadfully swollen; arising in a great measuie from inattention to herself at this particular age, —the turn of life. When almost too Inte she applied to different medical men, and after this went into two hospitals ; at the several places where she sought relief she was pronounced incurable. Fortunately, on her return home, she -was persuaded to try Holloway’s Fills, and by their use, with strict attention to diet, m a few weeks she was restored to perfect health.
