The Sydney Morning Herald states " a man named Singleton causrht a slim Broken Bay, at the mouth of the Hawke; lliver, and on dissecting it shortly afterw and opening the stomach, found therein skull of a man, with the lower jaw mis and two large bones of the arms of a 1» ; being. The relics are supposed to bet of a seaman named Johnson, who beloi t.> the ketch Tim Whihler, which was between Broken Bay and Newcastle a 1 the beginning of the present year, when J son and another of the seamen were drotf Johnson, it is stated, had several teeth* ing in the upper jaw ; and the upper attached to the skull found in the sto« of the shark bears appearances of as* kind."
