the granting of the application were lodged on behalf of the Jehu Bull and Nil Desperanduin Companies respectively. ■ The Warden adjourned the hearing for a week, in order that he might have an opportunity .of visiting the ground before deciding the application.—A. Mulholland and two others were granted an alteration of their licensed race, to commence at Surface Point, Kawarau Gorge.—Wah Hi and another applied for and obtained a grant of water from a point above O'Donnell's store, Bendigo Gully.
