THE HOSPITAL RACE AT CROMWELL.

To the KUhr of the Cromwell Annus. Sir, —Over a month lias elapsed since the last Hospital Race (won by Master King) was rim at : Cromwell, and although the proceeds amounting to £l3 135., were promptly handed over to : the Hospital Committee, 1 have not yet received the slightest acknowledgment o c the receipt of the money, nor have I observed any mention of the item in the district newspapers. Such neglect on the part of the Committee is not only discourteous towards those who subscribed to the ■ Hospital Race, but is calculated to discourage future efforts in the same charitable direction. Yours, &e.. Tub Owner. ok the Winning Horse. Cromwell, Feb. 12.
