Holfm mu applied for a prospecting quartz claim, situate half a mile west of the Royal Standard, prospecting quartz claim (registered), at Garrick Range.— Direction of -eef, about W. N. W. ; thickness of lode, about 3ft. Prospects, about 14 07,3. to the ton. —I2OO feet granted, conditionally on four men being constant!/ employe i thereon for two months, and thereafter and continuously six men. J. J. H. Brown (2 shares), Fleming, Chas. Green, M. MTCay, R. Randall, G. M‘oabe, R. Higgins, J. Woodward, E. Robinson, A. t ! eaa, and J. Bliley applied for a prospecting quartz claim, 121)3 feet by 300 feet, si mated at the hea l ■ J Adams’s Gully, Garrick Range. Prospect, half an ounce to the ton. The lode is running east and west. The reef is a mile distant from any reef at present discovered. on same conditions as first-mentioned grant (to Hall and party). E, Elliott and J. Tickle applied for leave to divert a part of the main road between Cromwell and Clyde, commencing 100 yards north of the Sonora Greek, and terminating 100 yards north of Falcon Hotel. Adjourned ror a weak. Extended Claim —John G. Mann and another, 2 acres in Pipeclay Gully, Granted. Tail Race. —The same applicants applied fora tail race from the claim just granted to them ; and the application was granted.
