KAWARAU GORGE PUBLIC BUILDING.
To the Editor of the Cromwell Arous. Sir, —Allow me to call attention to the fact that the Anniversary Service, held in the Public Building, Gorge, on Sunday, the Bth inst.. was riot in connection with the ‘‘Gorge Church," as intimated in your issue of 10th October, but with the Public Building. A clergyman of anv other persuasion would have been equally well received. lam induced to occupy a portion of your space with this trivial matter, as although tho latter part of the paragraph ia explicit enough, the former has been the subject of unpleasant comment.—l am, &0., Alfred M'Mis'n, Sec, Kawar.iu Gorge Public Bni’dinjr Committee.
