The Celebrated Clydesdale Entire Horse, FEATHER J 0 CK, JLJL will travel this season in the CROMWELL AND BLACKS DISTRICTS. "Heather Jock" is a beautiful dark bay horse, seventeen hands high, of immense bone, fine symmetry, and superior action. Was got by the far-famed horse Reformer, (imported by 0. Rossiter, Ksq., Cranbourno', out of the Celebrated Mare Flora (the property of J. Johnston, Ksq., Whifctlcsea, Victoria). " Heather Jock" has taken First and Second Prizes as a colt, one, two, and three years old in. Victoria. Sire Reformer, who gained the Highland Society's First Prize at Perth in 18.")2, as a yearling ; in 1835, ab Melbourne, the Fort Philip Farmers' Society's F rst Prize, beating Clyde (Mr J. Wiison's) and four other imported sires ; in 1857, at Melbourne, the Port Philip Farmers' Society's First Prize, boatin" Clyde and twenty-five others; at the same meeting won the Champion Cup, valued £3O, as the most perfect animal exhibited; lie has a'so taken a large number of Local Prizes, and his stock have been successful as prize-takers. Dim, Flora, got by the renowned horse Prince. Charlie (imported bv Messrs M'Tntosh, Glenroy), out of a pure bred V. D. L. mare, bred by Mr R. Q. Kerniodc, Mona Vale. Flora took first prize at Whittlesea two years in succession ; first at Kilinoro, and second at Heidelberg, in ISGI. " Heather Jock" wi'l visit Cromwell every alternate Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, commencing on the 20th October ; and Blacks every alternate Tuesday and Wednesday, commencing on the 10th October. Terms, £4, payable on or before the Ist February, 1872 ; Groouuigo Fee, oS; payable on first service. Clover paddock of 20 acres provided for Marcs, free of charge, and all care will-be taken, but no responsibility incurred. Marcs to he removed on or before the Ist of Jarivtary.
