She made the run from Sydney to Auckland in four days and a half, —this being the fastest passage on record. The Thames quartz-mines continue to yield well. Caledonian shares are still at £2OO. The Hangitoto brings news from Melbourne to 15th insfc. A ministerial crisis exists in Melbourne. It is probable the Government will resign, and that Charles Gavan Duffy will be the new Premier. Other Australian news is unimportant. Markets are firm, especially breadstuff's.
