Wednesday, May 10. (Before Vincent Pt/ke, Esq. , Judge and Warden.) VMXAW FU L INXE KFE REXC E. Robert Brydou and others v. Alexr. Rintoul and others.—Defendants were charged with unlawfully interfering with complainants’ claim. After hearing evidence, the Warden prohibited defendants from entering on or interfering with plaintiffs’ claim as now marked out. Plaintiffs to pay costs of Court, lls ; and each party to pay their own costs otherwise. APPLICATIONS. Extended Claims.—A. Fleming and another, two acres, Smith’s Gully ; R. Bell and two others, three acres, opposite Kawarau Gorge, on river bank ; Win. Todd and two others, three acresi at Sandy Point, east bank of Kawarau ; Samuel Halcrow and another, two acres, 400 yards east of Bendigo Gully,—all the above were Granted William Alldread and turn others, three acres, 11 miles below the junction of the Liudis and Clutha ; to be granted if advertised and not ob. jeoted to. Tail Race.- Sam. Halcrow and another, from extended claim, 400 yards east of Bendigo Gully granted. Protections. — Robert Brydon and five others, CO days, for a quartz claim, No. 1, north-east of the Golden Crown, Garrick Range, to tost reef: granted.—Jas. Thompson and another, GO days, for alluvial claim in Smith’s Gully, owing to want of water : granted.—Win. Watson and five others, GO days, for Golden Crown quartz claim 1 granted, two men to be employed.—J. Bruce and two others, 60 days, for alluvial claim, Doctor’s Flat : granted. Water Races. — Matt. Gaffney and two others, from two miles above Lougbnan’s “dip,” in the Eleven-mile Creek : granted.—Win. Todd and another, extension of licensed water-races from half-mile south-east of Kawarau gorge : granted. Edw. O’Brien and another, one sluice-head from Eight-mile Creek, Upper Clutha. Objected to by W. H. Day. Refused.—Frs. Lyons and another, for three si uieo-heads, from Clear-water Creek, seven miles to the north-east of Bendigo : granted. Dam. —W. Todd and two others, for a dam a Sandy Point : granted. Residence, Areas. —Gilbert Stait, for one acre, “0 yards west of Royal Standard Co.’s crushing machine, at Bannockburn. Objected to by R Kidd. Refused.—T, H. Carpenter, one acre twenty yards west of the Royal Standard Co.’ s machine ; Wm. Watson, for one acre, adjoining the above ; J. Barr, 200 yards, on north side of Smith’s Gully : all granted. Agricultural Lease. —J. Maclean, for 040 acres between Ardgour Station and Dry Creek. Ob_ jected to by Jas. Crowther and 72 others. Ad, journed for surveyor’s plan to be furnished. The 24th inst. being tbo anniversary of the Queen’s birthday, no Courts will be held on tha* day, but on the 31st inst.
