The Deep Lead on tbe terrace, opposite the township, is very energetically worked l>y lion.l, Walsh, and party, and they arc said to "lie getting excellent returns. The sinking is about DO feet; wash from one to five feet ; lead about -ill feet wide, and has an indefinite extent.
Mr Bond, to whose exertions the opening-up of this rich Lead is mainly due, deserves the best wishes of the district. Ho has formed a second company, who occupy an extended claim, and are driving two tunnels below the Enterprise. We hope they will bo rewaided, and recoup all their losses.
