ANOTHER GRIEVANCE.
To the Editor of the Cromwell Audits. ' i Six, —I would like to call tho attention fcf the Municipal Council to the unsatisfactory manner in which our mail eervice is carried out, and will simply mention two instances out of tho many which have occurred during tho past month. On Friday last, tho Cromwell portion of the English mail arrived at Clyde, and wan not dispatched from th»re until Monday morniug: again, our Dunodin mail, duo at Clydo on Saturday last, did n,ot arrive thoro till Mom* day afternoon, and is consequently detained till "Wednesday morning. I would therefore respectfully suggest that tha Council forward a memorial to tho Chief Post*. master, requosting him to iasuo instructions to the Postmasle* at Clyde, when these- irregnlarities occur, to send ou tho mail for Cromwell and the surrounding districts by the first chance, •W«re the Chief Postmaster to give these instructions, the mail service would be a little more beneficial than it i 3 at present.—Yours, &c, Cromwell, Jun3 21. Nboessltt.
