XXX. of the Empowering Act." It was agreed that a man should be employed to keep the town race clean, in order that the town may be supplied witb water fit for domestic purposes, until such time as the Public Works Committee can carry out tho new works, as proposed. This concluded the bujiness of the evening, \ and H Council adjourned.
