MUNICIPAL COUNCIL.

Ik; meeting of the Council was held on Monday Hing'last. Present —The Mayor (Mr G. W. o<lger), and Cra. Burrea and Kelly. lsovcd by Cr. Kelly, seconded by Cr. Bums, ■ carried, “That the Town Clerk write to Ii Marsh and Taylor, inviting them to act ■saors for the valuation of the property in uaicipslity for the year ending 31st July, ivfoe of two guineas each to be paid.” /by Cr. Burrea, seconded by Cr. Kelly, .rried, “ That Tuesday, the 22nd instant, id a« the day for the nomination of two illors—one for Bridge Ward, and one for ran Ward—in the room of Mr Robert K. and Mr James Dawkins, disqualified ; in I ent of there being more than the required •r of candidates proposed, the election to dace on Friday, the 25th inst. ; and that i to the above effect be given in the two papers and the Provincial Government Oa red by Cr.
