Several waggon-loads of wool from Wanaka and Kawarau Stations passed through Cromwell during the week. The farmers are _bnsy getting in their crops, and the weather has extremely favourable for the work. The ilemand from the outlying districts for general "goods, has,been limited ; but we understand that there hafl .been a good deal of Bobertson and Hallenstein's„Wakatip flour disposed of throughout the district. Quotations are as follow : Flour (Robertson & Hallenstein'a).— £lB to 1 £l9 per ton. do, do., £l3 per ton, .TJ'ran, do. do., £9 per ton, 1 ''■ Vats.—Gs per bushel. Wheat.—7s per bushel.
