The Cardrona School Committee, having recently secured a suitable school building, are advertising for the services of » teacher. Applications are to be sent in addressed to Mr Patterson, hon. treasurer of the Committee. With the New Year, Mr R. W. Daniels, of Queenstown, entered upon his contract for the conveyance of the mails between Clyde, Cromwell, and Queenstown, The want of a tri-weekly mail has long been felt, and the inauguration of this new service is hailed with satisfaction by all.
