MEETING AT OLYDEVALE. A meeting of those 'interested in 't!hie above movement was (held in the Clydevale Hall 011 Friday evening. The attendance -was disappointing in view of such a deserving cause, and there were no ladies present. However, those present formed theim'selves into a committee, with Mir A'. 0. Ke.e as ehairnian and •Mr -A'. Murray as secretary. It was 'decided to open subscription lists, Messrs A. Murray., E. F. Pamiett, F. IBunn and Benny 'being appointed canvassers. It was resolved l to write to the Otago organisers asking for information in 'regard to the channels through 'which funds were being distributed. Tire meeting seemed -to favour the suggestion that -the Government take 'the matter in 'hand immediately, Charter, say, two 'boats and ship direct some of our surplus meat in cold stores, appealing to the public to subsidise' the amount spent. '
