LATE COMMERCIAL. GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKET.
Dunedin, December 1, 1913. Messrs Donald Reid and Company, Limited report as follows: — Oats.—There is no change in the market since last week's report. Prime milling, 2s Id to 51s IJd; good feed, Is lid to 2s; inferior to medium, Is (id to Is lOd per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat. —Prime milling velvet, 4s 2d to 4s 3d; velvet ear, 3s lOd to 4s; Tuscan, 3s 9d to 3s lOd; best whole fowl wheat, 3s (id to 3s 8il; medium, 3s 2d to 3s 4d; broken and damaged, 2s 6d to 3s per bushel '(sacks extra). 'Potatoes.—Heavy supplies are still coming to hand, the,consequence being that only fresh-picked, sound tables are saleable. Chaff. —The market is barely supplied with prime chaff. This is readily disposed of, but medium and inferior lots are hard of sale. Best; oaten sheaf, £4 to £4 ss; choice black oat, £4 7s (id; medium to good, £3 10s to £3 15s; light and discoloured, £3 t to £3 5s per ton (sacks extra).
