STIRLING v. MILTON. This match was played at Milton on Saturday, when the green was in splendid order ami the weather good. The ladies provided an enjoyable afternoon tea. It is worthy of note that, after being 10 points down on the sixth head Moore's rink (Milton) in the next eight heads brought the score to 14—1:5, and then scored the full eight points on the .Kith head, and another big score of seven on the 20th, winning the game, .14—10. Kaitangata brought up six strong rinks to Bahdntha on Saturday afternoon, but were unsuccessful, going down to the local men by a margin of L'.'i points.
