H. Valpy, Esq. Gentle, by Champion, imported from Scotland, out of Betty ; Betty, bred by Captain Gardner, Da'ndenong, "Victoria, by Old Reformer, imported from Scotland, out of Bessy, imported from Scotland hy Captain Gardner. Betty as a yearoJd took first prize in lfcs4, as a two-year old, second in 1855, and Hon. Cer. in 1856, all in, Melbourne. It will be seen from his pedigree that Taieri Lad is as pure a strain of Clydesdale blood as can be found in the Colonies. . Taieri Lad as a year-old gained the Silver Cup at the Taieri against twelve competitors ; as a two-year old, Silver Medal at Tokomairiro and Clutha Agricultural Show against five others • as a three-year old, first premium at Clutha, and second in all ages at Clutha, 1874 Terms— £4.
