New Advertisements. QOUNTY OF CLUTHA. ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES OF RIDINGS. Public Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Olutha County Council will be held in the Athenaeum Hall, Balclutha, on Friday, the 18th clay of October, 1878, for the purpose of confirming the following resolutions, adopted ' at a special meeting of the said Council held on Friday, the 20th day of Septem-f i ber, 1878, namely, — That 1 " the South Molyneux Riding be bounded towards the north by the southern boundary of Run 90 as far as the Waiwera Stream ; thence along the Waiwera Stream as far as the Clinton Riding ; thence along the southern boundary of the Clinton and Richardson Ridings towards the east by the present boundary of the South Molyneux Riding, towards the south by the ocean, and towards the west by the western boundary of the County as far as" the southern boundary of said Run 90. That the Wairuna Riding be bounded towards the west and north by the Waipahi River and the Pomahaka River, towards the east by the Wairuna Stream and the western and south-western boundaries of the Clinton Riding as far as the Waiwera Stream ; thence along the Waiwera Stream arid the western and southern boundary of Run 90 to the Waipahi River. That a new Riding be created, called the Clydevalo Riding, bounded towards the north by the Pomahaka River and the northern boundary of the County to the Clutha River, towards the east by the Clutha River as far ap the western boundary of section % of block i. , Pomahaka Survey District ; thence along the wester.;. boundary line of said section 36 t; the Pomahaka River ; thence acrom the Pomahaka River, and alor^ the road known as the Pomahaka Ford road to the road known as ik>> Old Lake road ; thence in an easterly direction along the said Old Lake road to its junction with the Main South road ; thence in ;;, westerly direction along the Main South road to the road line between sections 44 and 45, block viii., Pomahaka Survey District j thence along the said road line, known as the Popotunoa Station road, to the western boundary of said block viii. ; thence in a northerly direction along the said western boundary of said block vm, and block x. to the old northernbotindary of the Clinton Riding ; thence along the old boundary of the Clinton Riding to the Pomahaka River. That the Clinton Riding be bounded towards the north by the Clydevalo and Pomahaka Ridings, towards the east by the first boundary of th? Richardson Riding, towards tho south by the South Molyneux Riding, and towards the weßt by the Wairuna Riding. That the Waipahi Riding be bounded towards the west, north, and east by the boundaries of the County, and towards the south by the Wairuna Riding. That the.
