Public notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Board of Conservators for the Inch Clutha River District held on Saturday, the 21st day of September, 1878, the following classification of lands within the River District was made ; — Class 1. — All that area of land within the body of the River District. Class 2. — Balloons, Bends, or Points, as follows : — Pillans' original Bend ; Smaill's Balloon; Gilroy's Bend; Baird's Point. Class 3. — Township Lands (as town lands at annual value). Public notice is also hereby given that the said classification may be inspected by the owner or occupier of any land within the River District at my house, Inch Clutha, during office hours, for twentyone days from and after the 27th inst. In compliance with the Public Works Act, Section 93, notice is hereby given, that the Pomahaka District Road Board having provided convenient ways to the adjacent lands, intend to close the following road : — East and west block line running between part of sections 29 and 40, and 30, and 39, and 31, and 38, Poma" haka Survey District from Pomahaka ford road to proposed new road.
