THE BOUNDARIES OF RIDINGS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — I noticed in your last issue that a petition has been sent to Wellington regarding the alteration of boundaries of ridings in the Clutha County. The petitioners seemed to be in great wrath at the County Council for disfranchising them, as they thought ; but when they saw that the -County Council had not done so they take the very sure plan of disfranchising themselves.. Surely they might have seen when the boundaries were altered that unless the rolls were altered to answer them they would be disfranchised,— l am, &c., August 22. Onlook_bb,.
