POST-OFFICE SAVINGS BANKS.
The following are the Regulations iO the above Banks : — , f 1 1. Interest at the rate of 4to 4|pe • cent per annum is given on £200 an under ; at the rato of 3 to 4 per cent jw 7 annum on sums under £500 ; and in .|h same proportion for any shorter tima <) every complete £1 deposited, provide that no interest be allowed on more tha £500. ;| 2. Depositors in tho Post-office Savin( Banks have direct Government securlt for the prompt repayment of their mon|] 3. A Depositor in any one of the Pos . office Banks may continue his deposit;,;! any other of such Banks, and can wjj draw his money at that Post-office BaS which is most convenient to him. "f$ J 4. The strictest secrecy is observed tH| respect to the Names of the DepositorfJ Post-office Banks', and tho amounted their deposits. || 1 5, Money may be deposited by or|| behalf of minors. Depositors over sev| years of age aie treated as persons of || i age, but minors under seven years of ,||j cannot withdraw their deposits until t|e have reached the age of seven. '0, 6.
