(Heuter's Special.) Berlin, July 1. Notwithstanding the refusal of the Porte, Austria will occupy Bosnia and Herzegovina, under sanction of the Powers. Russia will receive Bessarabia from the Kilia to the Pruth, and Roumania will receive the Dobrudscha from Silistria to Mangalia, on the Black Sea. The Powers are urging the acceptance i by Turkey of the Austrian occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Vienna, July 1. Austria is massing troops on the frontier. London, July 2. Four transports have just been ordered to Malta. Their ultimate destination "Is unknown. London, July 3. Congress has heard Mr Delayannes, the Greek delegate, on the Greek claims, including those of Crete and the protectorate of Thessally and Epirus. No decision has been arrived at. The Turks protest against the Austrian occupation of Bosnia. Congress cedes Bessarabia to Hussia, any the new southern frontier of Roumania will reach from Silistria to the Black Sea. Montenegro gets a small extension of territory besides Antivari. The* Pan-Anglican Synod opened at Lambeth Palace to-day. Many American, and Colonial Bishops were present. The quarter's revenue shows a decrease of L49 ; 273. (Special to the Press Agency.) London, July 3. ! At the Congress, Austria demanded the freedom and neutrality of the Danube. The terms of peace are understood to be admitted, the question of indemnity being left to Russia and Turkey, on consideration that the Turkish creditors have the first claim. Prince Bismarck warned Russia that in . the event of a failure in the payment of the indemnity, no territory would be claimable, the European settlement of boundaries being final. Sydney, July 3. The loan has been fixed at, three millions. The prohibition on the importation of-
stock has been withdrawn, the Government issuing stringent regulations in regard to importation. Adelaide, July 3. The Lusifcania left for Australia on Ist July; Waitara, July 3. The Hon. J. Sheehan and Mr Brown left Waitara this afternoon en route for Perihaka, where they will interview Titokowaru. It is rumoured this morning that Rewi has accepted the Government offer to build him a house at Waitara, and to give a pension of L5OO per annum. It is not known yet if he will accept a seat in the Legislative Council.
