I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, that I intend to construct a water-race, and dam to divert and use Water for agricultural purposes and for threshing mill, commencing at a point on a line bearing -56' 00", being 327 links from a peg N.E. corner of Section 9, Block IV, Catlins district, thence in a westerly direction bearing 278 ? 58", distant 2543 links, and thence in a S. W. direction 258° 37", distant 795 links, and terminating at adam. ■ ■ The length of such water-race is 33 chains 36 links-, or thereabouts, and its intended course is westerly.
