Amongst those in competition were the Canadian Exhibits from the great American International Show held at Philadelphia, U.S.A. Nimmo and Blair have a few of MITCHELL & SONS' GRAIN and GRASS SEED SOWING MACHINES. These machines are in use on the Greenfield and other large Estates, and on several large and small farms. It is well known that these machines soon recoup the first outlay by the immense saving in seed, and otherwise perform their work very evenly and satisfactorily. A consignment of W. G. Murray and Co.'s (of Banff) DOUBLE-FURROW PLOUGHS Has been placed in our hands to sell. These Ploughs are well known, and took the first prize at the Royal Agricultural Society's Show at Hull, England. The prices are low, and the article good.
