No., charge for addresses and signature up to ten words — Id each beyond that number. FOREIGN. The following are the Rates for Telegrams for twenty words or less (inoluding Melbourne or Sydnpy rates) via Port Darwin and the Java Cable: — £s.d. £s.d. Austria ... 95 6 London ... 98 (> Belgium and Portugal ... 9 9 0 Holland ... 96 0 Russia ... 96 0 Denmark ... 9 5 6 Spain 9 8 0 France ... 96 0 Sweden ... 95 0 Germany ... 9 5 6 Switzerland 94 6 Great Britain 99 6 Turkey . 96 0 Italy 9 3 6 Via Sydney the rates are 3s more throughout. Telegraph Offices are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on week days, and from 10 to 10.30 a.m. and 5 to 5.30 p.m. on Sundays.
