Jjj The First Meeting of the Householders in each School District within the Provincial District, of Otago will be held in the Schoolhouse, or Building used as the Schoolhouse, of the District, upon MONDAY, JANUARY 28th, 1878, at half -past 7 o'clock p.m., for the election of Seven Householders to form the School Committee of the district for the current year. But at Dunedin the meeting will be held at the Athenaeum Hall, Octagon^; at Oatnaru, in the Grammar School ; at Invercargill, in the Grammar School ; at Goodwood, in the house of Mr Joseph Preston ; at Otatau, in the house of Mr J. H. Menzies ; at Forest Hill Railway Crossing, in the house of Mr R. Hamilton ; at Ryall Bush, in the house of Mr A. Baldy ; at South Forest Hill, in the house of Mr George Thomson ; at Swift Creek, in the house of Mr John Cameron ; at Tuapeka West, in the house of Mr John Mackay ; at Gore, in the building used as a church ; and at Otaria, in the North School House. The Education Board has fixed FRIDAY, the Ist of FSBUARY, 1878, at half -past 7 o'clock p.m., for the First Meeting of every School Committee elected as aforesaid ; the said meeting to .be held at the places respectively at which the election of School Committees had taken place, excepting at Dunedin, where the Committee will meet in the office of Mr Sydney James, Princes-street.
