Dated this 17th day of January, 1878. JOHN M'NEIL, c 971 Chairman. rpHE NEW ZEALAND CLOTHING FACTORY. The desire on the part of the Public to support Colonial Industries has induced the Proprietors, Messrs HALLENSTEIN" BROS. & CO., to largely extend their Factory, so that it now employs upwards of 500 people, and the new organization of skilled labour has enabled them to manufacture a class of Clothing far superior to anything that can beimported. Their Boys' and Youths' Clothing is adapted to the requirements ol all classes, and the School Suits are the best ever placed before the public. The Tweeds manufactured by the MOSGIEL WOOLLEN FACTORY, of which Mr Hat,lenSTEIN is one of the largest proprietors, have of late so much improved in quality, that a great portion of the Clothing is now manufactured from these Tweeds. Thus one industry assists another, and the present demonstration in the chief Cities of New Zealand to support Colonial Industries is a step in the right direction, and will develop the resources of the country. Agri culture, Woolgrowing, Mining, and Commerce will flourish, and employment will be given to thousands of people. The Manufactures of the New Zealand Clothing Factory are now obtainable from the principal Storekeepers at Balclutha and other inland towns at proportionately lower prices than imported clothing, while the quality and fit are equal to any bespoke garments. When purchasing, ask for Goods manufactured by the New Zealand Clothing Factory. HALLENSTEIN BROS. &r CO.
