WASTE LANDS BOARD.

The ordinary weekly meeting on Wednesday was attended by the Chief Commissioner (in the chair), Messrs Green, Butterworth, and Clark, and the following was the principal business transacted : — Daniel Black's (for whom Mr Cahill appeared) application to purchase sections 34, 44, and 63, block 7, Waipahi, was granted. MrR Gillies, on behalf of tho Hon. Dr Menzies, gave notice of his intention to apply at the next meeting for a postponement of the hearing of the boundary dispute between hi 3 and Mr Anderson's runs at Wyndham. Leave of absence was granted to Messrs Bastings and Strode. ! The following memo, from the Chief Surveyor was read : — : ChaHon. District-., Won don Hundred.
