A Soiree to celebrate the opening will be held in the Church on the evening of Tuesday, the 16th inst. Tea on the table at half -past six o'clock. It is expected Professor Salmond and a large number of popular speakers will apdress the meeting. Admittance, 2s 6d. To accommodate residents in Balclutha and surrounding districts, a special train will leave Stirling at 6 o'clock, and return from Kaitangata at the close of the soiree.
