In compliance with the Publio Works Act, section 93, I hereby call a PUBLIC MEETING of the Ratepayers of. this District, to be held in the Schoolroom at Warepa, on SATURDAY, Sept.; 15, at 12 o'clock noon, for the purpose of considering the propriety of closing the Block Road Line previously advertised in the Clutha Leader of June 15th and on subsequent occasions ; and also for the purpose of taking steps to adopt the " Local Elections Act, 1876"; and for transacting any other business that may come before 1 the. meeting.
