35Tew £ dvertisements "Vy HYTE BROTHERS, STOCK and STATION AGENTS, ACCOUNTANTS, &o. &c, BALCLUTHA. Whyte Brothers have pleasure in acquainting Agriculturists, Graziers, Woolgrowers, and others in the Clutha and surrounding districts that they have commenced business in Balclutha as Stock and Station Agents, Accountants, etc. Liberal advances made on stock, wool, grain, and otherf produce for sale in the district or in Dunedin, or for shipment. Special care will be given to receiving and forwarding stock, wool, or other produce by rail-jto Dunedin, thus saving much time and annoyance to consignors. Whyte Brothers have also to mention that they have appointed Messrs Weight, Stephenson, and Co. their Agents, through whom all business in Dunedin will be done. The periodical and other auction sales at Balclutha and elsewhere throughout the district will be conducted by that firm. The Accountant Department will be specially under the management of Mr John Whyte, who was for many years Chief Actuary in the office of leading Accountants in Edinburgh, and who holds certificates to that effect. The firm will therefore be prepared to examine, audit, and report upon company affairs, wind up bankrupt estates, etc. From the large experience Mr James Whyte has already had in the district in connection with stock, station, and auctioneering business, and the large conneci tion he has formed amongst settlers. and others in the district, Whyte Brothers solicit and fully anticipate a liberal patron- ■ age. They would only add that every arrangement necessary has been made to facilitate the conduct of the business they | now inaugurate, and that, too, with the L view to securing the greatest advantage to all who may favour them with their business. Pending the erection of new and com- • modious premises, the business of the firm will be conducted in those offices adjoining the Bank of New South Wales, Clydestreet, Balclutha. 4th September, 1877. i Agents for the National Insurance Company. c 527 JO* O T I G E.
