In the Legislative Council, The Hon. Dr Pollen introduced Bills to amend the laws relating to Industrie 1 Societies and the Civil Service Act. In the House of Representatives, The House went into Committee of Supply, ancl a resolution ordering suppiles to remedy deficiencies in several departments is to be considered tomorrow. A discussion ensued upon a motion to place Mr Teschmaker's name upon the Waste Lands Committee, Mr de Lautour and Sir George Grey spoke at length, showing that the constitution of the Committee was most unfair to different parts of the Colony,
