Sir, — We have much pleasure in intimating to Agriculturists, Wool-growers, and others in Clutha and surroundiiig districts that, in response to a very generally expressed wish, we have This Day OPENED a Branch of our Business in Balclutha under the management of Mr George Todd, who will be empowered to make Advances on Stock for sale, on Wool, Grain, or other Produce for sale in this market or for shipment, and generally to conduct our business of Stock and Station Agents in all its branches. A member of our firm will be at Balclutha every Saturday or such other day in each week as may be found most suitable for constituents in the district, to conduct auction sales or such other business as may require personal attention. Mr Todd will give special care to receiving and forwarding stock, wool, or other produce by rail to Dunedin, thereby saving consignees much time and trouble.
