The Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association intend to establish a quarterly periodical called the * New Zealand Country Journal.' Colonel Gordon is making satisfactory progress with his Egyptian expedition. He expects that in two years regular trade will be opened between Lake Albert and Egypt.
