The question of providing a gravingdock at Lyttelton was revived at a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce Christchurch and the Chairman was requested to confer with the Provincial Government on the matter. , The Chairman informed the Chamber that two steam barges, each 35-horse-ppwer, would leave England to the order of the Provincial Government next month. They will be brought out via Suez Canal, and be used at Lyttelton harbor for towing and other purposes.
