Market dull, and very few transactions occurring Maclean Bros, report tor the week ending 18th inst- --Tlie market has been exceedingly quiet during the week, very little new grain being- yet on offer and we have no sales to report. Quotations are nominally : Wheat, 49 6d ; barley, 5b ; and oats, 2b 6d for prime Bamples of the new crop. H Driver reports for the week ending 17th inst. : The'market still remains quiet, little or no business Heine done. . An English telegram, says a contemporary, in another column announces a rise of 11b to lis Cd in xrheat If, as we presume, this means per quarter this would be an advance of nearly Is 6d per bushel on late rates.
