QUANTITIES OF SEED.
Pease-— 1 pint or I lb. will sow a ingle row from 40 to 60 feet, in which ray pease should always be sown. Beans— l pint or 1 lb of the middlejxed bean will plant a row of 00 to 1 10 pet, and the larger size 70 to 80 feet. Kidney^Beans—l pint or 1 lb will ow a row of about 80 feet. jpaionS-^1 oz of seed will sow a bed teoadcast) 4 feet by 12, or 60 to 100 eet of drill. L<-*ekg — loz of seed will sow a bed broadcast) 4 feet by 14, or about 100 bet of drill. Carrots — 1 oz of seed will sow 60 to ?0 feet of a row. j Turnips — 1 oz.of seed will sow 100 feet of a row. Parsnips — 1 oz of seed will sow 100 to 120 feet of a drill. j Cabbage — 1 oz of seed will bow a bed 4 feet by 10. Savoys — The same. German Greens or Borecole — 1 oz of geed will sow a bed 4 feet by 12« Brussels, Sprouts, Cauliflower, and Broccoli — The same. Parsley — 1 oz of seed will sow 80 feet of a row. Spinach — Tho same.
