BALCLUTHA RAILWAY STATION.

The following has been banded to us for publication :■ — " Provincial Secretary's Office, "Dunedin, 17th'July, 1874. "Gentlemen, — Referring to your memorial with reference to the site for the Railway Station at Balclotha,-y,which was forwarded by hi<* Honor the Superintendent on the 23rd of May last to the honorable the Colenial Secretary, for the' consideration of the General ' ( Government, I have now been directed to enclose; for your information copy of report from the Chief Engineer upon the subject. [copy.] '' The site proposed is the best that could h-ave been chosen. The Petitioners seem to b*> under Fome mistake as to the site, as the obiections urged are not at all applicable " Ist.
