QUESTIONS FOR EVERYBODY . JS it really true that Jesus Christ was "very God of very God"? "Most assuredly it is true." By taking flesh, the Son of God became what he had never been before, yet he never eeasd to be, what he had ever been. The Virgin born Child would be called "Immanuel," or "God With Us." Isaiah7:14. He is spoken of as "God's Fellow" (equal) in Zech: 13:7. In John 1:1 we read of his Eternity, Equality and Identity and in verse 14 His Incarnation; in verse 10 His Unchanged Deity, while on earth. In John 20: 28 He received worship as God. "No ■ less Almighty at His Birth than on His Throne. Supreme, His shoulders hild up heaven and1 earth, while Mary held up Him." Reader, you cannot do better than begin the New Year with Christ as your Saviour and Lord.
BIBLE TRUTH The Devil — Who Is He? TAMES defines the process of sin as follows.: "Every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then, when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin; and sin when it hath finished, bringeth forth death." (James 1:14.) Hence, the action of lust in the mind is the action of the New Testament Satan, or adversary. All sin proceeds from the desires of thc flesh. This is declared in various forms of speech in the Scriptures, and agrees with the experience of every man, as reference to followmg Scriptures show (Matt. 15: i9, Rom. 8:7, Gal. 5:19-21, 1 John 2:16).
