Extra Trains To Run On Main Trunk

WELLINGTON, Dec. 28. Extra expresses will run between Wellington and Auckland from January 16 to February 19. This period includes the week of the British Empire Games being held at Auckland from February 4 to 11 inclnsive, On some days up to January 28 there will .be four expresses including a daylight Limited. An extra, express will leave Wellington at 3.40 p.m. from Mohday to Saturday and should arrive at 7.51 a.m. The extra express on the Auckland-WellingtOn . trip will leave Auckland at 7.35 p.m. from Sunday to Friday and be in Wellington at lin a.m. On Saturdays fron« •January 16 to February 19, expresses will leave Wellington for Auckland at 3 p.m. and 3,40 p.m. and on Sundays at 3 p.m. and. 7,15 p.m, The daylight Limiteds will frofii January 2 to January 28, be leaving Wellington at 7.50 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and Auckland- at" 8.10 a.m., Mondays, Wednesdays an.d Fridays. The schednled time of arrival is 10.5 p.m. Wellington and 9.35 p.m. Auckland.
