Preparing Knock-out Blow For Terrorists
♦ Received Thursday, 11 p.m. SINGAPORE, Dec. 22. All civilian resour^es in Malaya .are to l>e voluntarily mobilised early in the New Year to join with the security forces in an attempted knock-out blow to the country's Communist terrorists. Announcing the scheme, the High Commissioner, Sir Henry Gurney, said eertain non-essential Government Departments would be closed down to provide extra men for the battle. He added that the all-out drive against the guerrillas would last for one month.
