OUTSTANDING. RUNNER
The outstanding junior micldle distance and distance athlete, Ian Mudge, of Otakb was well to the fore at the Wellington Athletic Centre's meeting at Hataitai on Saturday. He gave two impressive performances off the scratch mark in the 880 yards and the one and a-half miles. He showed good judgment with his lap times. . His plaeings were first in the one and a-half miles and thirdy in the 880. He has U'so distingiiished . himself at meetings of the Otaki Club. r.V.WVA'.V.W.VAV.V.V.V.
